Newborn sessions are my specialty and also my favourite. It's such a special time, and so often parents will look back and wish that they had more pictures. It's so easy to forget all the little details - and no wonder, your whole world is pretty well turned upside down during the first few weeks. It is so worthwhile to set aside the time to book a newborn session to really capture how special this time really is.
My studio has space for you to come in and relax. The sessions allow for enough time to feed, change and settle baby without feeling rushed. Every baby is unique and some babies need a little more time than others to settle in to sleep, and get used to whatever pose we are working on.
Before the session we will talk about your preferred poses, props, colours, etc., so that we are on the same page about what you really want out of the session. This also helps me have everything ready for your session when you arrive. In the end, you will have beautiful pictures of your new little bundle at this very special time.
I offer a variety of options for newborn sessions, including a more relaxed, lifestyle type of session. The packages are designed so that you only buy what you love. Please contact me for more details.
Every parent wants to remember all those special stages: when their littles start sitting up on their own, crawling, walking, the list goes on and on. Milestone Sessions aren't necessarily done at a certain age so much as they are done at a certain stage. Call me and we can chat about what stage your little is at and when it's time to capture them in all of their cuteness. Full milestone session packages include individualized themed sessions that we plan together. Regular family sessions include immediate family and are usually about an hour long. As a mother, I know how important it is to capture families as they grow up together, and it's important to me that these sessions reflect time spent together having fun. I love to start with some classic family portraits, and then move on to some more natural interactions. These are often some my client families' favourite shots of the session. I like to keep sessions light and fun, and it's my goal to have everyone walk away at the end feeling like they enjoyed it and can't wait to see the pictures. The successful shots from our session will be provided in an online preview gallery. You will be able to choose the number of images included in the package you decide on, and you always have the option to purchase additional images.
I also offer extended family sessions. These sessions include some group shots of the entire family, as well as some of each individual family, and a variety of other groupings. This will depend on what is most important your family. For example, grandparents with grandchildren, all children together, all the girls, all the guys, couples, etc., as long as it's within reason we can make it happen! Many people view getting the whole family together for pictures to be a form of mild torture, but I promise you we will have fun and get some natural smiles and great memories - everyone will go home feeling happier than they expected ;)
